Celebrating 25 years of the St.Xavier's Journey at SXC Mela 2014

What if you were 25 now and celebrate your birthday ? or lets say you celebrate your anniversary with your partner ? For sure, we really don't try missing one of such celebrations. And it has happened the same for the Xaverian's Celebrating Togetherness with the 25 years of journey.

St. Xavier’s College has a glorious academic history since its establishment in 1988 A.D. Today it has completed its successful twenty five years of establishment and now it’s time for celebration of the success it has achieved. The college would have never gained this success had there not been the support of the public. So the college looks forward for people around Kathmandu, Bhaktapur and Lalitpur to participate in the program and make it a grand success. Anticipated audiences of the program are students from various school and colleges, universities, corporate, professionals, students of St. Xavier’s College/School, parents/guardians and school administrators.

The event is organized with the theme of togetherness "Yesterday, Today and Forever" on 30th January 2014. The event is all about celebrating togetherness so it's not only for Xavierians, it's for all and yes for all of us, we are celebrating our togetherness. Since the event is all about celebration you can have lots of fun. There are going to be 33 exclusive game stalls, 15 business stalls, 12 food stalls serving mouthwatering dishes (Special Darjeeling MO:MO, different variety of Newari food and many other delicious food items) and corporate stalls where you can also network with as well as concert by Adrian Pradhan, Accoustix Band, Nattu Shah and DJ session (DJ Professor from UK). Besides, there will be cultural show that includes B-boying, dance and many more. There are different types of exciting hourly door prizes for the winners of different games.

The event is supported by Vibrant, Nepalgunj Medical College and Lord Buddha Education Foundation. The Kathmandu Post, Hope magazine, Classic Fm (101.2) and Himalaya TV are the official media partners. +View Your Choice- तपाईको सोचाई हाम्रो रोजाई - is an outreach partner while +edusanjal nepal is the educational partner. The program will start form 10 am and will run till 4 pm at St. Xavier's School Ground, Jawalakhel (To be noted is that the entrance is from South Gate). The fund raised in the program will go in St. Xavier's Social Service Fund.

So, you can play games, you can win prizes, you can enjoy live music, you can taste delicious food items, you can learn business and corporate skills - all things together at one place! Along with having fun and entertainment you are also going to help for social service so why not join the event???
