Starting at the dusk around at 6pm on 11th october, the first day of the fest will bring you to the LIVE Concert by The SAY Project is an expression of simple musical thoughts. This group has original ideas that use Shreeti Pradhan's powerful vocals with the enthusiastic playing of Ashesh Khulung Rai, all brought together by the voicing of Yuvash Vaidya. They are working on Nepali originals which highlight relatable emotions but with a touch of eccentric blend of world music influences.
Shreeti Pradhan - Vocals
Ashesh Khulung Rai - Guitars, Tabla and Percussions
Yuvash Vaidya - Piano, Guitars

Followed by it will be Movie Night from Paul Justman's Standing in the Shadows of Motown. A 2002 documentary film directed by Paul Justman, it recounts the story of The Funk Brothers, the uncredited and largely unheralded studio musicians who were the hand picked house band by Berry Gordy in 1959. They were the band who recorded and performed on Motowns' recordings from 1959 to 1972. The film was inspired by the 1989 book Standing in the Shadows of Motown: The Life and Music of Legendary Bassist James Jamerson, a bass guitar instruction book by Allan Slutsky, which features the bass lines of James Jamerson.

This particular movie is utterly captivating for music lovers, an overdue correction to the history of soul music and an individual testament to its power.

So, don't miss it and yes indeed it's happening at Moksh, Jhamsikhel, Lalitpur.
