Yatish Ojha: a Proactive Leader

A 18 year old boy who describes himself as a leader and an optimist, Yatish Ojha is a child right activist who has been working to make child friendly local governance. He is motivating youth in social service and also making them engage in productive and creative works.
Yatish completed his high school from Damak Multiple Campus, Damak in science faculty. He is the current President of Kamal Rural Municipality Level Child Network as well as the Secretary of Human Action for Mutual Integrity (HAMI), a non-profit social organization. He has been working to make child friendly local governance by creating awareness among children, parents, teachers, elected representatives and other stakeholders. He is also active in social works under HAMI which was recently established to encourage youth in social service. He is also a member of Damak Public Library Youth Team, which is established in order to increase reading culture in youths and children. He has established a child club in Damak Public Library to engage children in reading books out of academics too.

Dipisha Bhujel: a Flourishing Social Worker

Dipisha Bhujel is 16 years old and describes herself as an unshakable optimistic person. She believes that platform for women to share their stories of mensuration  should be obligatory for the purpose of awaring the younger generations.
Dipisha is a +2 graduate who is passionate for helping people. Currently, she is involved in project called “It’s My First Period” that works for the promotion of menstrual health among teenagers under JCYCN. “Cherubic”, is an organization established by she and her friend to promote mental health. She is a youth campaigner at Association of Youth Organizations Nepal to encourage more youth for good governance and democracy. Through her workings she was able to build a Child-Friendly Environment by educating children at orphanage home about their rights, rescuing girls who were violated and teaching about menstrual health and hygiene.

Anisha Ruchal : RJ and Child Right Activist

A 15 years old, 10th grader student at Shree Triveni Secondary School, Dhankuta, Anisha Ruchal is an enthusiastic Child Right Activist in her locality. She is the President of Ward level child club of 7th ward of Dhankuta Municipality and Secretary of newly formed Municipal Child Club. Likewise, she is RJ at Radio Makalu 92.2 Mhz and hosts a program called ‘Bal Chautari’ which is related to solve the issues of children and exploration of their hidden talent in them.
Starting of her journey
Her father always wanted to see developing different capabilities in her that may be useful at any stages of life. This is why her father took her to join Radio Makalu to host the program when she was in 7th grade. On asking how her motivation came to work for the children, she said “In our stereotypical society, women and children are still deprived from many opportunities. Ever since, I knew I could do something to change this trend, being a teen, I preferred working for the children”.
